Leonid Kishkovsky



The Very Reverend Leonid Kishkovsky was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1943.  Family became refugees during World War II in West Germany, and immigrated to the United States as Displaced Persons in 1951. Studied political science and history at the University of Southern California (1961 - 1964),
and theology at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (1964  -  1968).  Married to Alexandra Koulomzine in 1969, ordained to the diaconate and priesthood in the same year.

 

From 1974 to the present serving as Rector of Our Lady of Kazan Church, Sea Cliff, New York, and Assistant to the Chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America.
